Recently, a two-person delegation of senior Kenyan trade distributors paid a special visit to RGX Co., Ltd. (SHENZHEN LEDRGX ELECTRONICS CO., LTD.). On behalf of the local large-scale supermarkets and shopping malls they serve, the delegation conducted on-site inspections of smart shelf displays and multi-form LED display products, and explored digital display solutions suitable for retail scenarios. RGX’s professional team provided full reception, and both parties had in-depth exchanges on product performance, scenario applications, and potential cooperation opportunities.

During the reception, the RGX team first guided the Kenyan distributors to visit the corporate exhibition hall, with a key focus on the core product for supermarket scenarios – smart shelf displays. The team detailed the customized design of the shelf displays: adopting a lightweight aluminum cabinet with a thickness of only 22mm and a minimum weight of 1.2kg, they can be flexibly adjusted in size according to different shelf specifications of supermarkets. Equipped with a cloud-based intelligent control system, the displays support one-click updates of product price tags and switching of dynamic promotional advertisements via a mobile APP, effectively addressing the industry pain points of low replacement efficiency and high costs associated with traditional paper price tags. When demonstrating that the products have achieved an IP65 rating through GOB protection technology and can operate stably in humid environments such as supermarket fresh food sections, the distributors recorded product parameters on-site and expressed high attention to the practicality of the products.

Subsequently, accompanied by the RGX team, the distributors went deep into the LED display production base to observe the full-process production system up close. From the R&D and testing of core display modules, the precision splicing and touch technology of square displays, to the customized production processes of 360° full-view cylindrical displays and curved-fitting annular displays in the flexible workshop – RGX’s automated production lines and strict quality control standards allowed the distributors to gain a direct understanding of the production capabilities for products of different forms. For application scenarios such as shopping mall atrium decoration and elevator advertising, the team also explained the complementary advantages of cylindrical displays, annular displays, and shelf displays in scenarios with reference to case studies, providing a reference direction for the overall digital upgrading of supermarkets and shopping malls owned by the distributors’ clients.

In the discussion session, the Kenyan distributors shared local market demands: “East African supermarkets are accelerating digital transformation. They need not only practical display products suitable for shelves but also special-shaped displays that can enhance the scene appeal of shopping malls. RGX’s multi-form products are highly aligned with the upgrading needs of our clients.” Drawing on RGX’s experience in exporting products to over 80 countries worldwide, the RGX team put forward suggestions for customized product solutions based on the characteristics of the East African retail market. Both parties also initially exchanged views on cooperation details such as product quotations and delivery cycles.

It is reported that after this inspection, the Kenyan distributors will further communicate with the RGX team on solution details based on the specific procurement needs of their clients. RGX will also continue to provide support in terms of product technical materials and scenario application cases to lay a solid foundation for potential cooperation in the future. This reception not only demonstrated RGX’s product competitiveness in the field of retail intelligent displays but also built an important communication bridge for its expansion into the East African market and the deepening of cooperation in overseas retail scenarios.
